Anouk was born on the 8th of april 1975. She was a sweet little child, but when she got older she was just a wild girl, and her mom could not handle her anymore. She had to go to a house for difficult children.

When she was 19 years old, wanted to go to the "concervatorium" ( a school for people who are very good with music), She got in, but after two years she quits. She doesn't like all the music theory, and the most of the students there.

Then in 1996 she meets Barry Hay from the dutch rockband "golden earing" she plays at the Zeehelderkwartier festival, Barry is so impressed that he decides to help Anouk in to the world of music. He see's Anouk as a real good preformer, and thinks she can go far. He helps her find a producer, and the 5th of september Anouk's first single comes out.. The number does great in the hitlists and her first album together alone comes out. Together alone was 40.000 times sold wich is great for a first album.

Anouk: "Yes, everything's going so fast now. My single was two days old, and all the big radiostations are playing it! . Great! But I have never written "nobody's wife" for on my album. But now it's such a big succes, so I will put the song on the album."

Anouk preforms at all the big festifals that year and then she goes back to the studio to record her second album "Urban solitude"
For the second album she wins 2 edison awards, and 4 tmf awards. R.u. kiddin' me, Don't, Michel and the dark will be the singles of the album.

Then something bad happend, Anouk has got a burnout because she worked to hard. She spends the whole summer in bed, and then she starts the AAtour (anouk acoustic tour)
After that the new album comes out, lost tracks. With the album is a dvd as well.

2002, Anouk gets a baby. Benjahmin. So that year there comes a new baby and a new album for Anouk. The new album is called Graduated fool. And in the same year Anouk wins "the pop prijs" thats a big dutch price for the dutch artist who ment very much for the dutch pop music.

In 2003 the Graduated fool tour starts. The tour is a big succes and anouk even preforms at the San Siro stadion, from AC Milan.
At the end of 2003 Anouk gets another son, called Eliyah Jeremyah

2004, Anouk has a new dvd with an album wich are great! The tour is already over and was really good! At
the end of the year the new album Hotel new york came out, wich is really great!

2005, Anouk hos got a third child; a girl with the name Phoenix Ray. The singles Girl and Lost were great hits and Jerusalem is out now!
